Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan has been declared not guilty of an anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) by a panel of the disciplinary tribunal in a majority decision.
The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) Head, Brett Clothier, however, expressed disappointment with this outcome and plans to thoroughly review the reasoning behind the decision.
AIU will determine whether to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) within the given time frame.
As read in the statement provided, the details of the decision are currently confidential but will be made public soon. Consequently, Amusan’s provisional suspension is lifted immediately.

With her innocence established, Amusan will now participate in the World Athletics Championships, commencing this Saturday in Budapest, Hungary.
