The champions of the Nigerian Professional Football League, Enyimba, have made a significant signing.
They recently announced the signing of Frank Boateng, a Ghanaian goalkeeper from Kotoku Royals FC.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper’s arrival creates a competition between Olorunleke Ojo and Djeri Bassa for the starting goalkeeper position.
He has played for the best clubs in Ghana, including Ashanti Gold, Medeama Sporting Club, and King Faisal.
Moreover, Boateng has received numerous invitations to play for Ghana’s senior team, the Black Stars.
On Sunday, as the new season begins, Enyimba will take on Gombe United in their season opener. This addition of Boateng to the champions’ squad adds depth and competition, making for an intriguing debut.
