Naira Marley, the Marlian Music label boss, expressed his grief on Instagram over the passing of his former signee, Mohbad.
The late singer, known as Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, was a remarkable street pop star who played a vital role in Marlian Music’s beginnings.
In a heartfelt statement shared on his Instagram page, Naira Marley fondly remembered the moments he and Mohbad spent together during performances and hangouts, underscoring the positive impact Mohbad had on the label.
Despite their parting ways, Naira Marley emphasized that the label had never harboured any ill intentions towards Mohbad.
Naira Marley has also urged authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s untimely death.
Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, September 12, leaving behind a legacy in the world of street pop music.
