Mohbad: Bella Shmurda Cancels Canada Tour After Friend’s Tragic Death
Bella Shmurda, also known as Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, has cancelled his Canada tour due to the passing of Mohbad, a close friend and frequent collaborator.
Mohbad died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, under questionable conditions.
Bella Shmurda had planned a Canadian tour, but he had to cancel it. He explained, “Due to the recent sad event and unforeseen circumstances, I have had to cancel my Tour of Canada. New dates would be communicated.”
Daily Stand Nigeria recalls that Bella Shmurda disclosed in a previous interview with Chude Jideonwo that Mohbad encountered threats and even attempted suicide after leaving Naira Marley’s Marlian Music label last year.
However, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, stated on Saturday morning that they are awaiting information from Mohbad’s close companion, Bella Shmurda, to aid in their investigation.
