Enugu Rangers Begin Two-week Closed Camping Exercise For Pre-season Preparation

In their quest for a successful 2023–24 season, Rangers Football Club has begun an intensive two-week closed camping exercise in Awka, Anambra.

This marks the final phase of their preparations, which started last month under the guidance of their new head coach, Fidelis Ilechwuku.

The team had been training in Enugu in preparation for the upcoming season. In a friendly match played on Thursday, Rangers faced off against their regional rivals, Heartland, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

This rigorous training camp aims to fine-tune their performance and build team cohesion ahead of the season opener.

Rangers’ first match of the 2023–24 campaign is a home fixture against Doma United.

The new season is set to kick off on Saturday, September 9, promising an exciting start to their football journey.
