Ighalo Completes Al Wehda

Eagles’ Ighalo Joins Al Wehda on two-year contract

The Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo, has joined Saudi Arabia’s Al Wehda, as confirmed by the club. The 34-year-old striker signed a two-year deal with the Knights.

The announcement of Ighalo’s signing was made through the club’s social media account on Tuesday night, welcoming him as a new addition to the team.

“A new Eagle in the ranks of the Knights. Welcome Ighalo,” Al Wehda tweeted.

Ighalo had been playing for Al Hilal, the former champions of the Saudi Arabia Professional League, but his contract ended in June.

Before that, he played for another Saudi club, Al-Shabab. However, Ighalo was the top scorer in the Saudi League two seasons ago, scoring 20 goals. During his time at Al Hilal, he won both the league title and the Kings Cup.
