Cardoso is from Lagos State and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Management from Harvard University.
In 1999, he served as the first commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget in Lagos State when civilian democracy returned under Governor Tinubu’s leadership.
Cardoso also had a successful banking career, working at institutions like Chase Bank, Citibank, and Citizens International Bank. He held key roles as vice president at Citibank and executive director at Citizens International Bank.
He was involved with various companies, including MRS Oil Nigeria PLC, and also served as the Managing Partner at FBC Associates Limited.
