Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has made it clear that there are no disputes about the Olubadan stool.

He advised those who thrive from fostering conflict to stop for the sake of the state.

Makinde revealed this on Wednesday as he welcomed Muslim believers to his Ikolaba home in Ibadan, the state capital, along with members of his cabinet and other senior government figures.

The governor added that he had not heard anything official on the stool nomination from the Olubadan-in-Council.

He questioned why certain individuals were emphasizing issues that create traditional divisions within the state, claiming that he had no jurisdiction over such matters.
