Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard Renews Contract, Becomes Highest-paid Player
Arsenal’s captain, Martin Odegaard, has become the club’s highest-paid player. According to The Athletic, he signed a new contract that is valid until 2028.
Odegaard said, “Signing a new contract was a really easy decision for me.
“What we are doing right now as a club is special, and I want to be a part of that,” he added.
The Norwegian player is in his fourth season with Arsenal, initially joining on loan from Real Madrid in January 2021.
He was named the Gunners’ Player of the Season last season for scoring 15 Premier League goals, the most by a midfielder. This highlights his crucial role at Arsenal.
