NPFL: Ifeanyi Anaemena Moves to Abia Warriors

Former home-based Super Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Anaemena has joined the Abia Warriors on a one-year contract.

Anaemena, who previously played for Remo Stars, has now become a part of the Umuahia-based club.

Last season, the 31-year-old contributed to Remo Stars’ third-place finish.

In his career, Anaemena has also played for Enyimba and Rivers United, notably winning the Nigeria Premier Football League title with Enyimba in 2019.

As he prepares for the upcoming 2023–24 campaign, Anaemena has already started training with his new teammates.
