Romelu Lukaku is Napoli’s top transfer target. Antonio Conte wants to have him back under his wing. He sees Lukaku as the ideal replacement for Victor Osimhen. Osimhen should be moving to another club by the end of the summer transfer window. The Belgian also has no future in London. This is why talks have been underway for some time to bring him to Naples.
The player has already agreed to Napoli’s terms and is ready to move. However, he is waiting for an agreement between the clubs, which has not yet happened. Chelsea are finally keen to say goodbye to him after a series of loans to Inter Milan and AS Roma. Napoli would obviously also prefer a loan.
