Advertisers pay a flat fee to the platform for every 1,000 views. YouTube takes 45 percent of the ad revenue. Creators get the remaining 55 percent.
CR7 is already making a lot of money, and there is much more to come as he looks to compete with YouTube sensation Mr Beast, who has racked up over 400 million views on his videos and can earn up to $5 million a month in advertising revenue alone.
