FG appoints Uche Onyegbu as federal polytechnic Oko acting rector

Mr Uche Onyegbu has been appointed as the Acting Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra by the Federal Government.

The appointment was announced on Saturday in a letter signed by Mr Omotayo Adeyemi, Director, Human Resources Management, Federal Ministry of Education.

Onyegbu’s appointment follows the conclusion of Dr Franca Nwafulugo’s tenure as the former Rector on February 2.

Onyegbu has 17 years of experience in both administration and academia, having served as a secretary to four consecutive rectors before transitioning to teaching.

He holds a B.Sc, M.Sc, and MPA in Public Administration, and is nearing the completion of his doctoral programme.

Onyegbu is a member of several professional bodies including the Nigeria Institute of Public Administrators, FNIPA, Nigerian Institute of Management, NIM, and Professional Secretaries of Nigeria, FPSN, among others.
