In an interview on Thursday evening with ESPN, the Dutch coach explicitly confirmed his desire to join Liverpool at the end of the season, expressing high confidence.
According to Arne Slot, “I believe Feyenoord will let me join Liverpool because it would be a big step for me. There are ongoing negotiations between the clubs, I’m waiting here… I’m happy at Feyenoord but Liverpool would be a fantastic opportunity for me. The clubs have to do their job, and I’m waiting. This will be much clearer in the coming days.”
