Rivers United’s star player, Andy Okpe, is disappointed about the team’s elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup.
Rivers United lost 2-1 overall to USMA of Algeria, knocking them out of the competition.
As soon as Okpe entered the game, he had a great chance to score, but his shot hit the crossbar. Okpe called this miss an unlucky moment.
On his X account, Okpe said, “CAF moments in Algeria. I was unlucky on getting my goal immediately I was sub in.”
The Moroccan team RS Berkane will play USM Alger in the semifinals of the competition.
