Popular musician Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba, has humbly referred to himself as an ‘upcoming artist’.
Recognized for his timeless hits such as African Queen, he stands as one of the pioneers who significantly shaped the evolution of Afrobeat.
Yet, with a decline in recent releases, 2Baba has garnered less attention compared to current artists like Asake, Rema, Omah Lay, and others. Consequently, he described himself as an ‘upcoming artist’ due to this shift in focus among Nigerians.
