The Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu, has filed a counter-appeal against Atiku Abubakar in the Supreme Court, alleging fake certificate submission.
The accusations focus on Atiku using different names on two academic certificates.
Mr. President’s legal team claimed that Atiku is said to have used “Atiku Kojoli” on his primary school certificate and “Siddiq Abubakar” on his 1965 WASSCE certificate.
This is in response to Atiku’s claim that Tinubu presented a forged certificate to INEC before the 2023 elections.
The Supreme Court will be pivotal in resolving this matter, impacting the upcoming political landscape.
