The Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina has revealed that he believes Nottingham Forest will escape relegation at the end of the season.

Nottingham Forest, who is currently 17th on the English Premier League table, has tough matches left to play before the season ends against Chelsea, Manchester City, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Daily Stand Nigeria recalls that Forest lost four points for violating the sustainability and profit rules, which had an impact on their ranking.

The outcome, which might decide their destiny after the season, has already been appealed by Nuno Espirito Santo’s team.

Aina feels optimistic about his team’s ability to avoid relegation, even with all the odds against them.

“I don’t see the team going down,” Aina told the Nottingham Post.

“We’ve had a difficult season by our standards, but I very much expect us to improve in our next game.

“More importantly, it’s about playing well and trying to get a result to stay up.”

In his 17 league games this season, the adaptable defender has contributed one assist and one goal.
