Jordan Henderson

The Athletic reports that Jordan Henderson, who joined Ajax Amsterdam in January, might need to switch teams due to the club’s financial issues.

Last winter, Jordan Henderson left Saudi Arabia because of the climate conditions in the Middle East.

Instead, he surprised by signing with Ajax Amsterdam, becoming one of their highest-paid players. Now, due to financial problems, he might leave the team soon.

Ajax Amsterdam faces financial troubles and might have to let go of some key players, including Henderson and Steven Bergwijn. Henderson’s contract with the team runs until June 30, 2026.

Despite his 8 assists in 29 matches this season, Ajax isn’t performing well, sitting fifth in the Eredivisie. This means they’ll lose revenue and might have to make big changes.
