The Paris Saint-Germain striker, who might join Real Madrid, isn’t certain if his future club will let him play.
However, his father confirmed to French President Emmanuel Macron that Mbappé is eager to join. Macron expressed hope that European clubs will allow their players this freedom.
Speaking with La Tribune on Sunday, the French President said, “I found myself on a field with his father last week and asked him the question. He told me: ‘He wants to join’. I really hope that all European clubs will allow this freedom to their players.”
It is uncertain if Mbappé’s club will permit him to play in the tournament, which follows the Euro.
