The English football club Chelsea has secured Moisés Caicedo with a groundbreaking transfer deal, according to famous football journalist, Fabrizio Romano.
The agreement, just finalized, sees Chelsea paying a record fee of £115 million along with a sell-on clause to Brighton.
Caicedo’s medical tests are already scheduled, and upon passing, he will officially sign with Chelsea until June 2031.
An additional option for an extension until 2032 is also part of the arrangement. This transfer marks a significant move for both clubs and is set to make waves in the football world.
Meanwhile, Chelsea opened their Premier League season with a 1-1 draw against Liverpool, extending their streak of seven consecutive competitive matches against each other ending in a tie.
