The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Kebbi State, recently celebrated the promotions of two new Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) and 80 senior officers.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Chris Aimionowane led the ceremony in Birnin Kebbi.

These promotions followed recommendations from the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, and received approval from the Police Service Commission.

Commissioner Aimionowane congratulated the newly promoted officers on behalf of the IGP and emphasized the need for them to increase their dedication to their duties.

He urged them to view their promotions as recognition of their hard work and the additional responsibilities they now hold. He also stressed the importance of discipline and loyalty to authority, which are crucial for further career advancement within the Force.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Ali Yusuf, speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, expressed their gratitude to the IGP and the Police Service Commission for recommending and approving their promotions.

The State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Alhaji Nura Fingila, commended CP Aimionowane for his achievements in reducing crime and enhancing security in the state. He also praised the CP’s community-oriented policing approach.

The promotions included two ACPs who became Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), one Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) promoted to ACP, and two Superintendents of Police (SPs) elevated to CSP.
