Mbappé announces his transfer to Manchester United
On the night of Wednesday 28 to Thursday 29 August 2024, Kylian Mbappé’s X account published several posts on social media. The former Paris Saint-Germain player’s account having been hacked, the hacker published messages advertising cryptocurrency, discussing the situation in the Middle East and announcing a transfer to Manchester United.
“I support bitcoin and I think you should too,” the former AS Monaco striker’s account posted. The post was viewed more than 300,000 times in just a few minutes before being deleted, like the others. “I’m going to Manchester United,” read another post, pleading for a free transfer in 2029.
Mbappé trashes Lionel Messi
Kylian Mbappé, let us recall, that this is not the first time that he has been the victim of his account being hacked. In April and then December 2019, the Twitter account of the captain of the Blues had already been the subject of two cyberattacks, and messages that were not part of the Bondynois’ habits had been published before being deleted later.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest player in the history of football, this dwarf is not the Goat,” was also written about Lionel Messi. Other messages had a more political aim and referred to the situation in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine, before being deleted.
