At the press conference after Manchester City’s 4-1 win over Ipswich Town, the Spanish coach was asked by that journalist if Haaland was “the most complete centre-forward we have ever seen in this game”.
Guardiola, with Barça blood and many years of football behind him, did not hesitate when answering. He could have been politically correct but he chose with his heart and answered something he always maintained: “The most incredible centre forward I have seen is Messi. I have never seen anything like that.”
